It’s only the first week of October but Gwen is already excited about her Halloween costume this year. She’s excited but I’m not, haha. You see, for the past 2 years, I’m the one who decides what will be her costume. But this year, I guess it’s the other way around. My strong-willed child decides on what she wears and I can’t let her talk out of it. This year, she’s bent on becoming Elsa at her school’s trick or treat, and then Peppa Pig at our company’s trick or treat. O di ba, may change costume pa? Toys R Us already has plenty of halloween costumes on display, and they do have the Elsa costume but in Large size only, but it’s Php 1500, for a costume! I still want to DIY her halloween costume, but an Elsa costume is so complicated.
For those who are already preparing for your kids’ halloween costumes, I compiled the Top Halloween Costumes for 2014.

This is a no-brainer. The endless singing of Let it go will still go on.
Sofia the First
Little girls love being a princess. So I’m sure they will like being Sofia the First or any other Disney princesses. Good news is there are a lot of Disney princesses and Sofia the First costumes at Toys R Us.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Superhero (Batman, Spiderman, Captain America, etc.)
Batman, Spiderman, Captain America, Green Lantern costumes are still popular for boys.
Elsa and Anna costumes in Divisoria
I was at 168 Mall earlier and saw a shop that sells costumes. They have Anna and Elsa costumes, as well as Sofia the First. Kaya lang ang mahal! The Anna costume which is really beautiful is 2,500, Elsa costume is Php 1,500. I didn’t ask na for the Sofia the First.
The store is located at Level 4 of 168 Mall. When you enter the main entrance in front of Recto St., just ride the escalators going to the 4th level. You will see the shop selling costumes. They also have costumes for United Nations celebration.
