What it’s like to be a work-at-home mom (WAHM)? I happened to preview what it’s like to be one after I gave birth to Gwen and I was on a 2-month maternity leave, I had an online job I got from Odesk aside from blogging on the side. Before I got pregnant, I had a successful online shop at Multiply, Pink Fortune. I love accessories and that’s what I sell then. With that experience, I love the fact that I’m earning even if I’m in my jammies.
The idea of being a WAHM always crosses my mind whenever I have yaya problems…
Of course I know that there are plenty of possibilities online (writing gigs, data entry, reserach, social media) and offline through home-based business, but some problems I might face being a WAHM is TIME MANAGEMENT and CONTINUITY. I really lack time management skills and the idea of working at home with all the temptations like the TV, the bed, etc. is so not for me. Also, I noticed that I easily get uninterested after a month or two with my online jobs that’s why I’m afraid that I can’t have a stable income.
Martine of DaintyMom.com, on the other hand, is having a WAHMderful life already! She found her bliss and she wants to help us moms to have a successful WAHM life.
Manila Workshops together with Dainty Mom bring you It’s a WAHMderful Life: A Work-at-Home Moms 101.
