At 11 months, Gwen is about 8 or 9 kilos already. Carrying her to the mall using the baby carrier is too hard. Plus the fact that our carrier doesn’t have proper weight distribution. A baby stroller is now our option so that we can move and shop around without the weight. The stroller that my brother gave me is too bulky and heavy. We want a lightweight umbrella stroller only that’s not too spacious when folded.
We checked out some umbrella strollers at Baby Company SM Megamall and found two that we like… And Gwen’s pretty comfortable with them too…

Yaya hunting has been a roller coaster ride. After the perfect yaya left last October, we already had 2 replacement nannies. And because they can’t keep up with the perfect yaya’s standards, we are always searching and on the look out for a new one. There are good and bad days, good times because I can see that they are really trying but bad times outnumbered the good ones.

It’s been a while since I posted Gwen’s new things. You see, we seldom buy her new stuff, thanks to her 2 bigger cousins. From her crib, stroller and some clothes, Gwen is enjoying hand-me downs since birth. Sometimes, whenever a friend of mine posts photos of her baby, I see lots of toys in the background. Well, I don’t plan on buying lots of toys for Gwen but sometimes, I want to spoil her too.
I planned to buy her a Vtech sit-to-stand toy or an activity table but Jeff was not sold on that idea especially for a toy that costs Php 2,000+. So I just searched on Ebay for other affordable educational toys.

School children in the Philippines face many challenges; sometimes, even the simple walk to school in the morning can be an arduous journey.
Students cross rivers, traverse mountain peaks, even go through battlegrounds just to go to school. And when they arrive, they are faced with meager resources – overcrowded classrooms, the lack of books and school supplies – which all make for an uninspiring learning environment.
That is why starting on its 76th year, Procter and Gamble (P&G) Philippines is setting out to make these students’ journey more worthwhile. Taking its commitment to education to the next level, P&G will provide technology and connectivity to Filipino students nationwide with its e.Studyante program.

Gawd, this post has been sitting on my drafts since October, gotta post it!
Gwen can now utter a few syllables, I think she already said “Mommy” in the past but from BabyCenter, it’s a few mumblings and she doesn’t know what that means… But come 10 months old, she can repeatedly say “daddy… daddy”. That’s music to her daddy’s ears, hehe…
What about me? Well, she shouts my name whenever she sees me leaving the room, wants milk, or she just wants my attention. She shouts, “dede…dede…dede”… Uh oh!
She associated me with food, that every time I’m with her she’s just going to “dede”…
Is this something to be happy about or what? hehe…kidding… ang cute!
