Hong Kong Disneyland 2012

January 15, 2013 9 Comments

We spent 8 days in HK last November, and after that epic Dragon’s Back hike, we went to everyone’s playground. Disneyland! It’s Christmas season so Disneyland was decked with decors, feel na feel ang Christmas.

parang na-eexcite na si Gwen, hinihila na nya ako….

We were lucky that day coz the 12 pm parade was about to start, pag Saturday pala, twice yung Flights of Fantasy parade, 12 pm and 3 pm. So just after entering Main St. we looked for a nice place to sit and watch the parade. While waiting, I bought Mickey Mouse-shaped waffles for 50 HKD, at hindi sya masarap, cute lang sya.

Mickey Mouse waffles, cute but….

Flights of Fantasy parade

Gwen screamed when she saw Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Tigger and Winnie the Pooh. I have a video on my phone while Gwen is dancing at the parade kaya lang nakakahiya kasi stage mommy na stage mommy ang peg ko, sigaw din ako ng sigaw, haha…

Side story:

Si ARYANA! Aryana is a show in ABS-CBN, parang Dyesebel. Yaya Gladys and Gwen is watching that show, bago mag TV Patrol yata yun.

While watching the Golden Mickeys, a nice musical show where all Disney characters were shown, Stitch, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Toy Story characters, etc… pati si Mickey and Minnie Mouse, there’s a part that showed The Little Mermaid…

Sabi ko: Gwen, si Ariel o!
Gwen screamed: Si ARYANA!

Okay anak, we have to watch more Disney shows ha? hehehe…

Disney’s Tomorrowland

We didn’t get to ride all the attractions, ang lungkot naman if I ride the Space Mountain alone kasi salitan kami magbabantay kay Gwen. We already enjoyed Disneyland before kaya it’s the little girl’s moment na.

One time-consuming activity in Disneyland is the photo-ops with the characters. Blockbuster syempre sila Mickey and Minnie Mouse, we fell in line for 30 minutes for each of them. Worth it naman seeing Gwen’s face beaming with delight…

with Minnie Mouse

Toy Story Land and Grizzly Gulch are the two new attractions in HK Disneyland. Jeff rode the Mine Train in Grizzly Gulch.

Toy Story Land

Nasulit naman ni Gwen yung carousel sa Disneyland, sulit na sulit to the point na hilong hilo na ako… I should have rode the Space Mountain instead.

rode the carousel until mommy and daddy got dizzy

One rule to live by when going to Disneyland, “Thou shall not miss the fireworks”. It’s my 4th time to witness it and it never fails to leave me teary-eyed. Nakakaiyak sa ganda…

Disneyland fireworks will leave you in awe

I was supposed to upload my Disneyland fireworks video last New Year, para timely, nawalan lang ako ng time :p. So better late than never, enjoy the show! Like and share the video on YouTube if you enjoyed it. =)
