My Nuffnang Asia Pacific Blog Awards 2011 story

December 31, 2011 6 Comments

Happy holidays everyone! I hope you all had a good one. I’m sorry for the lack of updates since I left for Malaysia to attend the Nuffnang Asia Pacific Blog Awards 2011. My trip was cut short because I have to be here for Gwen’s first birthday celebration. So after the awards night and the day tour, I flew to Manila sleepless and tired for another celebration.

My trip was barely 2 days, but it was an eventful and exhilarating experience. Fun times with the Team Philippines, aside from the finalists, they also invited other fashion/celebrity bloggers to cheer , a nice way to represent the Philippines since all of them looked ravishing that night.

My blog didn’t win the Best Parenting Blog category though, but having this trip alone made me a winner! I couldn’t be happier.

sorry naman, nakabukas ang bag =)

And did you know that Team PH rocked the NAPBAS 2011? Four Pinoy blogs won…

Best Hidden Gem – www.googlygooeys.com

Best Lifestyle Blog – www.jenniepperson.com

Best Travel Blog – www.justwandering.org

I wasn’t able to bond much with the bloggers though, I didn’t go to the after party at the Zouk, I’m so sleepy and I think it’s a sign that I’m old, hehe…

But I made new friends and I’m thankful for Kessa for keeping me company from the bus ride, our after-dinner at the Marriot and our ala-Amazing Race taxi ride back to the hotel.

I was lucky to be roomies with Nina too! I’m roomies with the Best Travel Blog in the Asia Pacific if not the world. Thank you for the TimTam Dark Mint and the stories you shared. I hope we bump into each other again!

And thank you to Nuffnang for making all of these happen. Because of this, you inspired me to take this blog to a whole new level. So that I can be part of the next NAPBAS again. *crosses fingers*
