Oh the toddler’s imagination

August 12, 2013 7 Comments

Gwen is into pretend play nowadays, and what’s funny is that she doesn’t want to be called her name anymore. She wants to be called whatever her character of the day is. It’s fun and confusing!

Pamilya Bear:

It all started with the Bear family. She would name us Mama Bear, Papa Bear, Nanay Bear (Lola), Ate Bear (yaya Rose), and Gwen as Baby Bear. She won’t budge when you call her Gwen, she is Baby Bear.

And it doesn’t end there, well, there’s a stray cat that is always near our gate. Our neighbors named her Roxanne, and Gwen (Baby Bear) is so fond of her. During her Bear family phase:

Ate Bear: Nasaan na si Roxanne?
Baby Bear: Hindi yun si Roxanne, si Miming Bear yun.

O di ba one big happy Bear family? 🙂

Pamilya Smurf:

When we’re collecting the Happy Meal Smurfs toys from McDonald’s, we all became Smurfs.

Gwen as Smurfette, Daddy as Brainy, Mommy as Baker, Nanay as Jokey, and Yaya Rose as Vexy.

Please Be Careful with my Heart fever:

After watching the TV show, she declared that she is Maya. Daddy as Ser Chief. And guess who is Abbey? Si Nanay, hahaha….

That afternoon, Ser Chief, errr, Jeff called Gwen at home, just to check on her. Hindi raw sila nagkaintidihan, kasi hindi raw sya si Gwen, sya si Maya, hahaha…

Pamilya Dolphin:

I can’t remember why we became dolphins, but it’s the same concept as the Bear family. The complete family consists of Daddy Dolphin, Mommy Dolphin, Baby Dolphin, Ate Dolphin, and Nanay Dolphin.

Pamilya Penguin:

As of August 12, we are now a family of Penguins. Only Baby Penguin knows how long she wants us to be Penguins, hahaha.

Have a great week everyone!

Love,

Mommy Penguin

ang galing ng anak mo 🙂 baka bukas, a family of PIGS na kaau, ang cute lang 😀 Parang this little piggy went to market, this little piggy stayed at home 🙂
