January 27, 2016 6 Comments

Time to adult today. One thing that’s mulling over us these past few years is migrating to another country. We wanted to have more opportunities for a brighter future for our family. Some of our college friends and their families are now living in Australia that’s why this is on top of our choices if our dream of moving comes true.

When you have a family, everything you do and every decision you make is for them and about them. Naturally, you wish all the best for them especially when it comes to the house where you will raise your children. You look for a good neighborhood and a pleasant overall environment where you will feel safe and happy. This is why as much as possible you wish to save money to buy a house in a good location for your family.

Reasons Why You Would Want to Move to Australia

Australia is a country where many choose to move and raise a family. Here are some reasons why you would want to consider this option for your own family too.

  1. Stable economy – Australia’s economy has been continuously growing over the past few years and who wouldn’t want to live in a country where there is security? People seek stability in all things, which is why many look for opportunities in other countries. And in Australia, majority of the people can be considered as middle class. There are lots of job opportunities even for expats, which indeed entice people to migrate there.
  2. Higher minimum salary – not only there are lots of stable jobs and lots of job opportunities in Australia, they also pay higher minimum salary even higher than the minimum wage in the United States. It is true that the cost of living in the land down under is a bit pricey but once you start receiving your paycheck, you will forget about it.
  3. High quality education – there is nothing more important for parents than to give good education for their children. Well, if you move to Australia, this will not be a worry for you. They offer high quality education both public and private schools, colleges, and universities. The future of your kids will be bright indeed.
  4. Best healthcare system – another factor that encourages expats to move to Australia is the top of the line healthcare system in the country. It’s easy, fast, and very reliable. Public and private hospitals carry the most innovative healthcare facilities available even for foreigners.
  5. Parks and all other attractions – Australia is known for its beautiful sceneries including parks, safari, and beaches that will never fail to amuse you. You can do many sports and activities as family. You can have family outing every weekend if you want. The climate is also wonderful which is ideal for the kids. The great tasting Australian coffee is an additional bonus for those who love to drink coffee.

Australia is a country with many beautiful cities like Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne, and others. Migrating here to raise your family is indeed a wise decision for so many reasons headed by those that we discussed in this post. You can start looking for houses to buy; Lendlease has house and land packages in Adelaide with stunning views, excellent neighborhood, and definitely a perfect place for your family especially the children.

It’s time to think about your family’s future – would you like to live and move to Australia too?

I may not consider moving to this country for good but I will definitely want to visit this place for so many reasons. I have seen a lot of great places here that is truly worthy to visit (Sydney alone has so many great places to offer). Also I want to see a lot of Kangaroos haha

I’ve visited Australia once and I love the laidback lifestyle there. I still prefer my life here though.

How I wish it is that easy. I want to live somewhere that is more secured and stabled than in the Philippines. However, my whole family is residing here in the Philippines and it’s difficult to live somewhere far from them. I tried that before in Singapore and though it’s a lot easier to live there (financial and living security), you will still miss the presence of your family and relatives. I really hope that our country will improve for the better. I love the Philippines but living here is so difficult for us in middle-class.
