Artsy afternoon at Sip and Gogh Alabang

April 26, 2019 3 Comments

Here’s another fun summer activity for the kids especially if they love to draw and paint. After my Planaforma class in Molito Alabang, we checked out Sip & Gogh if they have summer workshops for kids. Sip & Gogh is a one-of-a-kind paint and sip studio where people can paint while sipping drinks, hence the name. The staff showed me the schedule and they are now in Batch 3. Since we’re already there and Gwen really wanted to paint, I asked if they have a one-time painting session. Luckily, they do!

For Php 1,000, you can have a one-on-one painting session for 2 hours with an artist plus the materials you’ll need such as apron rental, paint, and canvas. The fee includes snacks too.

You can choose what to paint from the artworks displayed in the studio. After that, they will prepare the paint colors you’ll need based on your chosen artwork. A short tutorial about the strokes and how to mix and blend the paint will be taught.

Nag-eenjoy sya promise! di lang halata… masyadong serious eh :p

For the kids’s snacks, they offer biscuits, grapes, and juice. For adults, they offer cold cuts, grapes, and wine.

By the way, the artist is not beside your child the entire time ha. He/she will just show what to do and how to do it, babalikan na lang nya to check once finished. But you can always call him/her if may kelangan ka, like Gwen needed more paint, nagpadagdag pa sya or hindi nya makuha yung brush strokes for a particular detail.

And here’s the finished product, Gwen enjoyed her painting session. Gusto pang umulit 🙂

You get to bring home your child’s masterpiece. Pwede na pang-display.

If your child knows how to paint kahit slight lang, knows how to blend colors, I think the 1k session is good na instead of attending the workshop. I saw the kids in the class kasi, mostly younger kids aged 4-6 years old, and they teach basic lessons lang naman.

Below is Sip & Gogh Alabang’s summer painting workshop schedule. If you want your kids to join, sa Batch 4 and 5 na lang kayo humabol.

Sip & Gogh Alabang is located at 2nd Flr. Molito Lifestyle Center, the building where Puregold is located.

I wanna do this, too! You’re the second person I know that have tried this activity. Kaya alam na alam ko na ang price and other details. I like na maiuuwi mo ang na-paint mo, parang painter for a day ka, hehe. 🙂
