Baby’s first nail cut

Along with Gwen’s first month, it’s also her first nail cut. At the nursery, she already scratched her face that’s why we make it a point that her mittens are always intact 24/7. Surprisingly, she can manage to remove her mittens once in a while. Her fingernails are long, so on her first month, Daddy prepared for her first nail cut…

It’s best to cut baby’s nails when she’s asleep and right after taking a bath because it’s softer, no need to use hand dryers to dry baby’s nails. We used Safety 1st Clear View Nail Clippers, it has a magnifying glass but we weren’t able to utilize it. I guess ordinary nail clippers will suffice, just be careful and cut baby’s nails in a well-lit room.
