Today is one for the books especially to parents and kids as McDonald’s brings back the iconic Red Box. I’m sure you all remember that McDonald’s Happy Meal came in a box, I don’t know why they got rid of the box some time ago and they just give a you toy wrapped in plastic. Now, our kids can truly enjoy opening a box of happiness with the McDonald’s Happy Meal box.
The McDo Happy Meal box will be available starting September 19, 2013
Inside the box is your chosen meal together with the toy. A basic and cheapest Happy Meal will be the Burger McDo Happy Meal for Php 85, burger, fries, drinks and the featured toy.

The sides of the Happy Meal box has a fold-a-figure activity for your kids to enjoy. I got panda and penguin fold-a-figures, and Rarity from My Little Pony.

The featured toys as of the Happy Meal box launch are My Little Pony and Transformers. Two collections that will be a hit not just for kids but adults as well, just like the McDonald’s Smurfs 2 collection.
Mommies and daddies, you can relax now because it only has 4 items per collection, buti naman, lol…

I’ve always, always been a fan of the Happy Meal toys and the Happy Meal in general. Back in the days, the cheapest meal would cost somewhere around 50 pesos, and the boxes were pretty and colorful, the design usually depending on the Happy Meal toy inside. Oh, to be a kid again. Haha! 🙂

One of my big kids who was invited to a birthday party brought home one of the Happy Meal toys, di pa rin nawawala sa kanila ang pagiging bata. 🙂
I love the Happy Meal box. It feels like always getting a special treat thus making the dining experience extra special in McDo. We completed the ponies in just one day hahaha!
If ever, this will be the first time that my son will get a Happy Meal toy in a Happy Meal box. He always gets the ones wrapped in plastic.
I love this iconic box! I also wondered why they discontinued this before. Now I am going to collect the Ponies for the girl before they run out! 🙂
yay! the happy meal box is back! i am sure my daughter will go crazy if she sees what’s in it for the toys.. she is just loco over My Little Pony!
