MediCard celebrates 31st anniversary with Buy 1 Take 1 on RxER Prepaid Health Card

May 14, 2018 2 Comments

Just this Saturday, we were at MediCard clinic in Festival Supermall, Alabang, Jeff was having tummy problems since Friday. I like their Free Standing Clinic in Festival Mall because the reception area is spacious, they have different areas for checking the vitals before you can proceed to wait to the doctor’s clinic. Anyway, the check-up went fine, the doctor just prescribed meds for 3 days, buti na lang wala ng lab tests. We’re thankful that our company provides MediCard as one of its benefits to their employees. Our company has been with MediCard for over a decade now.

Safeguard your family’s future with Cocolife Future Savings Platinum

March 6, 2018 1 Comment

I got an insurance in my early 20s, about 2 or 3 years in my first job. Swerte lang kasi may mga nag-ooffer sa office ng mga insurance and if you attend their presentation, you’ll get free lunch. Sayang ang lunch so my officemates and I attended hahaha… but we did get insurance plans after that. And since I started early, I’m already finished paying for it and just waiting for it to mature. While waiting, I also study some of the available insurance plans from other companies. As they say, do not put all your eggs in one basket. This is true not only in stocks but also in saving your money in banks and in insurance companies.

I’m curious, how young are you when you started saving for your future? Did you start early even if you’re still single or you start after you had your family? In my case, I started early because I wanted to get the benefits of my policy early on. If I can already get cash bonuses in the 15th year, I can use that for my dream vacation while I’m still young and able to travel. Ayoko naman mag-save ng mag-save and I won’t enjoy the benefits of my hard-earned money. That was my way of thinking when I was single, but now that I have my family, I also think about their future when I die. Yup, death is inevitable that’s why you need to be prepared for your family’s future. Will your child/children finish their education? Can they pay for the house amortization or monthly rent  without you? Is your spouse financially secure?

The secret to smelling fresh even after sweating

January 8, 2018 103 Comments

We always encourage Gwen to do more outdoor play. Being active is also good for the kids, physically and socially, because they get to play with other kids. One of the things we’re really grateful since we lived here in Cavite is that Gwen have plenty of outdoor space to run around and play. There’s the playground, hello monkey bars, see-saw, and slide. And then there’s the clubhouse and basketball court for more space if she likes to ride her bike or go rollerblading. These past months, she’s into practicing with her rollerblades, inspired by the movie Mighty Ducks which is on the loop since December haha…

Holiday Gift Ideas under Php 200 at The Metro Stores

December 10, 2017 Leave a Comment

15 days to go until Christmas time! Are you done with your Christmas shopping? Did you check your list twice? As for me, I’m just starting. Kasi naman, every Christmas mas madaming office work which means less time to go shopping. Add to that are the get-togethers every weekend plus Gwen’s exam week. Can I ask Santa Claus for a gift of time?

Luckily, I was able to squeeze in some shopping time last Friday at The Metro Department Store in Alabang. I’m so happy because I was able to shop gifts for Gwen’s teachers and classmates, that’s one huge chunk crossed off my list, wooohooo! I was able to buy items that are packaged well ready for gift-giving, susulatan mo na lang. The best thing about shopping at The Metro Department Store is that the gifts are really affordable yet classy. Let me share to you some gift ideas under Php 200.
