As a homemaker and a working mom, I need to whip up dinner the soonest I go home from work. I don’t want to serve my family fried food and canned goods all the time so I need to think of quick and easy recipes to prepare. But sometimes, I want to eat a hearty beef caldereta when I go home but it’s impossible to cook caldereta when you have a 9-to-5 job and then expect your beef caldereta to be ready by 7 pm, right?
Well, a friend offered me a solution. Cook our meals during weekends, store them in the fridge and just reheat them come dinner time. Sounds like a plan, especially if I will be using a Midea Microwave Oven.

In my family, when shopping for household items like kitchen appliances, I have the upper hand on what to buy. But when it comes to other appliances like TV and gadgets, Jeff knows best. Unilab through its Unilab Foundation does it again in empowering Filipinos to make a difference. Last week, I was invited to witness the launch of #healthierPH Volunteer Portal. The Portal breaks the usual notions about volunteerism: that volunteer work always means physical work; requires physical presence; or needs financial investments in order to make great contributions. In this digital world, even just one Facebook share or one retweet can make a difference, it can spread awareness. Remember that viral photo of an alleged kidnapping taken by a concerned citizen along Edsa? The authorities would not have been alerted and prompted to investigate further, but thanks to that photo all over social media, the policemen were able to shed light on that issue.
Sometimes, it only takes one responsible click to make an impact.
