Tender Love Wipes for kids and mommies

August 23, 2015 1 Comment

Baby wipes is a necessity in every diaper bag especially if you have younger kids. When Gwen was still a baby, I simply cannot leave the house without it. We used it every diaper change, to wipe her hands and face, and also to clean the surfaces like high chairs in restaurants. With its many uses, imagine how much we’ve spent on baby wipes alone. They really don’t come cheap.

A friend sent over these Tender Love Wipes for me to try. It’s very affordable with its Travel Pack containing 20 wipes priced not over Php 30.

Attipas shoes for your baby’s precious steps

November 25, 2014 20 Comments

Our baby’s first steps is a milestone, those first few steps are a big accomplishment for our little ones. If our babies can already talk, a shout out to the world will be something like this, “Watch out world, here I come!” Along with the joy that this milestone brings, we are also worried about the accidents that might happen like what if our baby slipped, what if he/she stepped on rough and sharp surfaces, etc.

Should babies wear shoes?

No. Parenting experts all agreed that barefoot is the way to go for babies and toddlers. Babies’ feet will develop naturally if he/she walks barefoot. Let them feel the ground to develop their balance, strength, and coordination. This will help strengthen the muscles and ligaments on their feet.

The latest products from Mustela + A Giveaway!

November 6, 2014 34 Comments

Mustela is one of the baby products used by Gwen. I chanced upon this brand when they opened their Trinoma store in 2011, Gwen was around 7 months old then. They recommended Mustela Dermo-Cleansing Gel for Gwen at that time, they have a wide array of products but this one is from Mustela Bebe, a line for normal skin. Just read the review I made 3 years ago, I swear, your baby will smell so good from morning till night after using Mustela. Aside from being paraben-free, the scent is another thing why I bought Mustela even if its pricier than other baby products.

Imagine my joy when I was invited for media launch about Mustela’s latest innovations on skin care… At the event held at La Creperie Moderne, I was reacquainted with my favorite Mustela products and I got to know the other product lines.

Easy-palit with Huggies Dry Pants

November 4, 2014 Leave a Comment

Diaper changing with a toddler is different than with a baby. When Gwen was less than 1 year old, she behaves well that’s why changing nappies was a breeze. It’s a different story by the time she turned 1 year old and up. It’s hard to keep her still, andyan yung nasisipa ka pa during nappy change, or worse having poop in your hands (oops sorry!). That’s why we shifted to a Huggies Dry Pants when I couldn’t handle her kalikutan.

Gwen’s OOTD: H&M Thailand

October 19, 2014 12 Comments

The opening of the first H&M store here in the Philippines rocked the fashion scene. Imagine, people falling in line a day before the shop opens, crazy right? But yeah, I posted on FB that people should not panic, hehe… There are more branches opening soon, I saw branches to be opened in Robinsons Magnolia and SM Makati. I love H&M too, and I look forward shopping in it whenever we’re in HK and last month, in Bangkok. Pero di ko pa rin tatyagain pumila :p.

I was chatting with a friend and I said I have mixed reactions about H&M opening here. Kasi I won’t have something to look forward to when we go abroad. First, Forever 21, Uniqlo, then Cotton On, and now H&M. Slight lang naman :p. I really like H&M among the retail brands mentioned, H&M kasi is classic and trendy at the same time. Uniqlo is my second fave because of good quality and its classic styles. Not much of a fan of Forever 21 and Cotton On.

Anyway, funny story how we got to buy Gwen’s whole outfit. Originally, when we first went out, she’s wearing pink sleeveless shirt, shorts, and her saltwater sandals. We went to our agenda that day, Thai cooking class, after lunch and since we have nothing to do, we checked out Siam Paragon Mall. H&M greeted me at the entrance hehe. Jeff allowed me to indulge while he searched for a sofa inside the store since Gwen fell asleep. H&M in Siam Paragon has 2 floors only (H&M Philippines has 3 floors daw!). Hindi pa ako nakakapili nakita ko gising na si Gwen. Tapos nilalamig daw because of the full blast aircon. She went inside wearing a sando-shorts-sandals and went out looking like this.

Top Halloween Costumes for 2014

October 7, 2014 Leave a Comment

It’s only the first week of October but Gwen is already excited about her Halloween costume this year. She’s excited but I’m not, haha. You see, for the past 2 years, I’m the one who decides what will be her costume. But this year, I guess it’s the other way around. My strong-willed child decides on what she wears and I can’t let her talk out of it. This year, she’s bent on becoming Elsa at her school’s trick or treat, and then Peppa Pig at our company’s trick or treat. O di ba, may change costume pa? Toys R Us already has plenty of halloween costumes on display, and they do have the Elsa costume but in Large size only, but it’s Php 1500, for a costume! I still want to DIY her halloween costume, but an Elsa costume is so complicated.

For those who are already preparing for your kids’ halloween costumes, I compiled the Top Halloween Costumes for 2014.
