Cook faster and healthier with Midea’s Microwave Ovens

November 26, 2014 Leave a Comment

As a homemaker and a working mom, I need to whip up dinner the soonest I go home from work. I don’t want to serve my family fried food and canned goods all the time so I need to think of quick and easy recipes to prepare. But sometimes, I want to eat a hearty beef caldereta when I go home but it’s impossible to cook caldereta when you have a 9-to-5 job and then expect your beef caldereta to be ready by 7 pm, right?

Well, a friend offered me a solution. Cook our meals during weekends, store them in the fridge and just reheat them come dinner time. Sounds like a plan, especially if I will be using a Midea Microwave Oven.

We are still in the planning stage in building our house in Cavite, it’s been like 5 years in the making, nagtaasan na mga presyo ng construction materials, nakailang ulit na ng palit ng design inspiration, and yet we’re still planning. But one thing remains constant though, our brand of choice for our bathroom fixtures is still American Standard.

American Standard is the leader in bathroom fixtures and fittings, combining leading technologies and stylish design innovations that bring “comfort of body and mind” advocating the “green” philosophy.

May 17, 2013 1 Comment

When you have a kid in the house, it is very important to clean areas where he/she hangs out such as the living room, bedroom, play area and well, almost all areas of the house. With my 2-year-old, she is very curious on every new thing that she sees, and sometimes, puts everything in her mouth thinking it’s food. So I see to it that every morning, her yaya cleans the floor, her table and her toys to ensure that she’ll never picks up something harmful.

To be able to ensure that everything in your house is spic-and-span, here are a few cleaning materials you should have:

DIY Paper Flowers using the HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 5525 Printer

May 15, 2013 8 Comments

Oooh paper flowers! This DIY thing using my new HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 5525 Printer is so addicting, I can make pretty and whimsical things.

For this activity, I made paper flowers. I brought this when we were at Club Balai Isabel so that Gwen and I can do it when we’re bored. This is also what we plan to give to Nanay.

For the PDF of paper flowers, download here and here.

I used ordinary bond paper but the prints is still vibrant. I’m sure those paper flowers can be as colorful as they can be. Here’s an example of the finished product:

Here’s another fun DIY for your princess, a magical wand made of cutouts printed using the HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 5525 E-All-in-One Printer. This is perfect for pretend play, and can also be used if you’re having a princess-themed party. See, I’m getting creative because of this printer :p.

You can download the PDF file of the DIY Princess Wand here. After downloading, print.

The downloading of the PDF file took longer than printing the full-colored pages of this princess wand. I’m so amazed how fast this printer is.

Give your children the HP Ink Advantage

April 29, 2013 13 Comments

When I was still in college, a computer and a printer is a must. I can’t get my school projects done without a reliable printer by my side. At that time, I was using an HP Deskjet Printer, a slim one that does its job, which is to print. When I graduated college and started working, I upgraded my old desktop computer to a laptop and never really cared on getting a new printer until now. I figured I don’t have any use for it yet since Gwen is still a toddler, if I have important documents needed to be printed, I use our office’s black&white printer.

So when HP Philippines and EON offered me a spanking new printer, of course, I welcomed it with open arms! They sent me this top-of-the-line HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 5525 e-All-in-One Printer…
