The Legal Wife Statement Shirts

May 8, 2014 3 Comments

Commercial muna from serious blog posts…. showbiz muna.

Aminin! Sinong nanonood? The Legal Wife got me hooked again in watching teleserye. I didn’t watch My Husband’s Lover on GMA before, pero ibang levels ang The Legal Wife. Nakakapang-gigil hahaha!

Of course, ABS-CBN knew how popular the soap is, so they released The Legal Wife statement shirts that can be bought at the ABS-CBN store at the lobby of ELJ Building. Shirts are Php 250 each.

Are you Team Nicole or team Monica?

Weekend reset

April 6, 2014 2 Comments

Sometimes, all we need is a day to pamper ourselves to recharge and back to our daily grind. I was in dire need of a massage after my 10-miler Yakult Run, my legs are aching and going to the gym 3 times a week didn’t help. So last Sunday, I declared Do not disturb Sunday. It was timely because Jeff was out of town for a trail run too.

I sought respite at The Spa in Trinoma.

Breaking Bad…. Breaking Bald

February 12, 2014 2 Comments

I am MIA again! And it seems that all I do is explain why I am not blogging again after promising to be here regularly. But thanks to the pep talk from Peachy, I snapped back from my laziness. I won’t tell you what she said :p, it’s our little secret.

Aside from being melancholic last week because Tatay (Jeff’s grandfather) died, I just spent my evening playing with Gwen and after that sleeping. And just when I promised myself to blog, Jeff suddenly decided to have a Breaking Bad marathon. It’s been years since we had a series marathon, yung 24 pa!

Happy Holidays 2013!

December 24, 2013 Leave a Comment

Whew! November passed without even a single post from me. But hello there, I’m still alive. With all the sad news that came last November (and we all know it), I didn’t have the energy to go online most of the time and I always get to sleep first than Gwen at night. :p

So let me greet everyone a Merry merry Christmas and an Awesome New Year! I really hope that 2014 will be great for all of us!

Yaya Reflections (Why they stay, why they leave, etc.)

April 1, 2013 9 Comments

Yaya Gladys has been with us for more than a year. We like her very much because she loves Gwen and Gwen loves her as well. Gwen is always clean, smells fresh and happy when they are together. Gladys is one perfect yaya (almost), except for her chronic Extended Vacation Leaves.

She seldom goes out for day-offs. She’s a homebody, whenever we go out, she requests to be left at home which is fine with us, at least solo namin si Gwen. But when she takes a vacation which is like every 2 or 3 months (Nueva Ecija lang naman kaya malapit), nakoooo, she NEVER comes back on time. She usually goes home when there’s a long weekend, lagi nyang dahilan, mahirap sumakay. Worse, she never answers our text messages and phone calls when she’s away! Parang wala kaming pinagsamahan…. I always feel na nakikipagplastikan lang sa amin when she’s with us, tapos pag umuuwi na sa kanila, balewala na lang kami. I know I should not get affected but we treat her as a family, we took her to our family vacations, she eats what we eat, I buy her clothes, gives her transpo fees during her vacation, she’s one spoiled yaya.

Okay, enough ranting. Sorry but I need to vent this out.

So yeah, what makes ’em yayas stay anyway? Here are some of my observations.

Tips before going to Sidcor Sunday Market

March 6, 2013 8 Comments

Centris Walk in Quezon Avenue corner Edsa is becoming a lifestyle hub. There are restaurants, nail salon, gym, coffee place and an open space for kids and pets to enjoy. Every Sunday, crowds go here because of Sidcor Sunday Market. It’s my first time to go here and I was surprised how big it was. I thought that it’s just a small place with sellers with small booths. It’s very complete and organized at that.
