15 days to go until Christmas time! Are you done with your Christmas shopping? Did you check your list twice? As for me, I’m just starting. Kasi naman, every Christmas mas madaming office work which means less time to go shopping. Add to that are the get-togethers every weekend plus Gwen’s exam week. Can I ask Santa Claus for a gift of time?
Luckily, I was able to squeeze in some shopping time last Friday at The Metro Department Store in Alabang. I’m so happy because I was able to shop gifts for Gwen’s teachers and classmates, that’s one huge chunk crossed off my list, wooohooo! I was able to buy items that are packaged well ready for gift-giving, susulatan mo na lang. The best thing about shopping at The Metro Department Store is that the gifts are really affordable yet classy. Let me share to you some gift ideas under Php 200.

How old are your kids when they started sleeping in their own beds? I think with Gwen’s case, malapit na kami, huhuhu… She has her own room already in our house and she’s excited on the thought of having her own bed. She wants a loft bed so that she can have a study and vanity table below. She’s also happy with the Jack and Jill bathroom layout wherein she has direct access to the bathroom that’s why she’s requesting for her own bathrobe and white towels. Feel na feel nya ang from shower-to-bedroom drama :p.

Who loves doing the grocery as much as I do? I think all moms love to shop except for the gastos part…. yung tipong ang konti-konti lang ng laman ng cart mo at puro chichirya pa pero 1,000 pesos na pala! Because of this, I try to buy all the things needed during the weekend, so that I don’t have to go to the grocery during weekdays. Making a list is very important so that I won’t miss out on something. However, when I have a 1st grader who eats all her stock of pambaon at home, I don’t have a choice but drop by the nearest supermarket before going home from work. I don’t usually go to this grocery that’s why I took my time to check out the aisles for some interesting finds.

Since I am now a certified Southerner, I’m getting excited discovering new places here. Festival Mall Alabang is one of the malls we frequent during college days. I’m saving you the math, that was some 10 years ago hahaha. After revisiting the mall last month, there are a lot of changes and it got bigger. Aside from the huge Decathlon store, Landmark Alabang also found its place in the new wing of Festival Mall.
The Landmark Supermarket opened last Friday, July 28, 2017. The Landmark staff were in full force because of the eager and excited shoppers. Why??? It’s because they have a lot of Buy 1 Take 1 and discounted items, there’s also a Landmark Alabang Exclusive sale items.

Sports, adventure, and travel enthusiasts will be over the moon and will do cartwheels once you set foot inside Decathlon Philippines first store in Festival Supermall, Alabang. Decathlon is a French sporting goods retailer, they have goods and equipment for all sports. Bikes, tents, running, football, basketball, gymnastics, fishing, taekwondo, even SIPA… pati equestrian uniforms meron!!!
