Few more weeks and it’s back to school again mommies! Nakapag-enroll na ba kayo? We’re done school hunting for my 1st grader and we chose her school already, enrollment na lang. After enrollment, the expenses never stop because it’s time to shop for new shoes, bags, and uniform. Malls will be crowded again with shoppers so I’m looking at other options a.k.a. online shopping.

I recently discovered that you can shop for Boardwalk items online. Boardwalk is a direct-selling company but you can also shop for fashion and lifestyle products online. They have products for men, women, and kids. I checked the Girls section and I’m so happy they have everything Gwen needs this school year, shoes, socks, big bags, etc. They also have a Back to School Shop & Win Promo where 1 online shopper can win a trip for 4 to Hong Kong Disneyland!

Shopping at Tickles, SM North Edsa

There are stores that whenever you enter, you’ll never go out empty-handed, agree? In my case, some of the stores are bookstores, Watsons….. and Tickles! These stores, even if I’m on a shopping ban or I don’t need to buy anything, paglabas may bitbit na ako. I always frequent Tickles in Trinoma whenever I have to buy gifts or whenever something cute caught my eye which is always the case.

Last week, Tickles opened another store in SM North Edsa, it’s the first thing that will greet you at the main building’s entrance. The circus-themed facade is so inviting people flocked into the store to get their dose of fun and quirky items. I was with Jeff, Gwen and my Nanay who loves anik-anik, check out what we shopped.

Ever since I discovered Groupons, I’ve bookmarked their site so that I won’t miss exciting deals and promos. I love the discounted offers on restaurants, hotels, beauty services, and many more. Just when I though that it can’t get any better, Groupon also has Groupon coupons. Couponing is slowly becoming popular here in the Philippines, if you’re not familiar with this, it’s just a site that shows all the coupons or promo codes of a particular shop. So whenever you want to shop, just check Groupon first for coupons that you can use, then just click the link to redirect you.

I consider it as an advantage because with the dozen of online shopping sites, I won’t be able to keep track of their latest promotions. With Groupon, I will never miss out on the sale so that means more savings for me.

Christmas gift ideas at Groupon

Christmas parties are happening left and right as Christmas day draws near. It’s the busiest season of the year once again. I’m in panic mode actually because I don’t have any single wrapped present under the tree yet. I think I’m going to go on hiatus this Christmas :p. Kidding aside, the reason I haven’t shopped yet is because of the horrendous traffic not just in the road but also going to the mall’s parking lot. It will drain your energy just by going to the mall, and let’s not talk about falling in line in fitting rooms, cashier, and gift wrapping section.

Our team in the office will be having a party this Friday and we’re having a White Elephant gift exchange. This type of gift exchange is a popular Christmas event where people vie or steal to walk away with the best present. It also goes by the name Yankee Swap or Dirty Santa. Given this type of gift giving, I need to look for a unisex gift. I’m looking at Groupon goods for ideas.

A Merry Mattel Christmas!

Giving toys as gifts is a surefire way to make the kids happy. I give quality and educational toys especially if I haven’t seen my inaanaks for a while and I’m not sure what size of clothes they wear. Richprime’s Kids Craze Warehouse Sale is still ongoing until December 22 but if you’re too far, worry not because you can shop at Mattel Christmas.

Christmas shopping at Landers Superstore

Guess who’s back at Landers? This time, I visited their second branch which is in Otis, Manila to check out what’s in store for their members this Christmas. I was amazed at how identical the Balintawak and Otis branches look, ang galing! If I’ll be blindfolded and brought to one of them, I really can’t tell which branch I’m in, ganun ka-identical. Landers Superstore has an 8,000-square meter vast shopping space, you can easily breeze through the well-lit aisles without bumping into another shopper. With big parking area, wide lanes, spacious shopping grounds, and posh dining area, Christmas shopping at Landers Superstore will be a blissful experience.
