Cherry Shaw is back!
Cherry Foodarama is a popular supermarket chain known to many especially in the areas of Congressional, Shaw Blvd. in Mandaluyong, and Antipolo. When it was closed down last June, a lot of my friends got sad because part of their childhood memories were spent grocery shopping inside a Cherry grocery.
Since its closing down last June, the SM group acquired the grocery chain. Now, I’m happy to tell you that Cherry is back!

Baclaran hits: Overruns
Aside from 168 Mall in Divisoria and Wellmanson’s in Quiapo, I also go to Baclaran to shop if I have free time. I just go to the mall connected to LRT Station, hindi na ako lumalabas dun, hehe. The main reason why I went there is to buy a case for our Samsung Tab S. Ang mahal kasi sa SM yesterday, they sell the unbranded cases for Php 450. I know that it’s cheaper in Baclaran, and true enough, I was able to buy a case for Php 250. We need to buy one for the tablet while we’re looking for a “tougher” one like an Otterbox case since Gwen will use it more often.
Pero alam nyo ba na aside from cheap mobile phone and tablet cases, Baclaran has a lot of stores selling overruns?

Sale Finds at Hi-Top Supermart
I work near Hi-Top Supermart in Quezon Ave., isang tumbling lang. I love doing my grocery here because they have the cheapest prices, mas mura pa kesa Puregold. There are items na 10 pesos cheaper sa Hi-Top. Ang pinaka-inaabangan ko talaga dyan eh yung mga sale items nila, I always check out the chocolates section for 50% off chocolates :p. And then upon entering the turnstile entrance, andun na yung mga sale items (near expiry or promotional) which varies everyday, depends on the stocks. So let me show you my sulit sale finds when we had our grocery last week. Some of the items might not be available anymore ha…. baka ubos na.
Franzia red wine 3L, 30% off. Papa is a wine drinker, yan na lang ang panglambing ko sa kanya. Original price is Php 588+ but with the discount, I saved 200 pesos. May iba pang flavors when I bought a few days ago, California Red and Sunset Blush. Yesterday, Sunset Blush na lang ang nakita ko, not sure if they will restock.
