Santa came on Gwen’s 4th birthday

December 22, 3 days ’til Christmas and it’s Gwen’s 4th birthday. Just like her 2nd and 3rd birthday, it will just be a simple celebration with the family. We plan to celebrate it at a resto but we were already on the road since Saturday and we don’t want to deal with the hellish traffic.

A day before her birthday, we asked her Christmas wish. We already knew she wants a bike for Christmas, and we already bought the bike and kept it at the storage room. Just the same, Jeff helped her make a letter to Santa.

Trick or Treat 2014: Princess Anna

Happy Halloween! It’s my birthday tomorrow but first let’s celebrate halloween :). If you’re reading my blog, you know how excited we area this time of the year. Well, we spent Trick or Treat in Boracay for 3 straight years. My parents are from Aklan kasi, and they go to the province for undas, sumasabay kami pero we go straight to Boracay. This year is different, when I booked our tickets during a seat sale, sabi namin ibang destination naman. So I chose Cebu, our flight was supposed to be last night. Tapos this time, dapat nasa Bantayan island na kami. Kaya lang nagkatamaran the last minute, kaya ayan we’re stuck here in the city. We’re heading to Las Pinas na lang this weekend.

Anyway, our office had its annual Halloween celebration for the kids. This year, Gwen is dressed as Princess Anna. Hindi nyo pa ba kilala si Princess Anna, naku, I’m sure patok na patok ang Frozen costumes no? Mapa-Anna or Elsa.

My sweetest Valentine gift

Jeff and I are not fans of Valentines, in fact, we have no plans for tomorrow except for going to the gym after office. We usually go to the mall during Fridays but tomorrow is V-day na, payday pa, so I’m sure people will go out and traffic will be worse.

Gwen’s birthday at Sofitel

Last Sunday, our princess turned 3! And just like her 2nd birthday, we just celebrated it with the family. Her 2nd birthday was at Yakimix with my Aunt, Nanay and Yaya Gladys. This time, Nanay is in the province so it will be just the three of us, and Yaya Rose. We had dinner at the Spiral.

Trick or Treat 2013: Dora the Explorer costume

After planning to be a minion, a Lalaloopsy or a cute ice cream for Halloween, none of these three choices materialized. Ganun kagulo isip ko, haha. Well, I was prepared for Gwen’s minion costume but when I fitted her yellow clothes and jumper, medyo fail plus Jeff said making a realistic minion goggles will be a challenge (and another challenge for making Gwen wear it).

I’m really this close into buying the ice cream costume at SM but Marsy encouraged me to DIY. She sent me a tutorial for the wig should I decide for a Lalaloopsy costume. Kaya lang wala na talaga akong time sis.

So for this year’s Trick or Treat, it’s Gwen the Explorer!

Gwen is into pretend play nowadays, and what’s funny is that she doesn’t want to be called her name anymore. She wants to be called whatever her character of the day is. It’s fun and confusing!
