Beauty on a budget: Eyelash perm at Happy Brows

February 27, 2020 6 Comments

I wanted to write this review on my other blog since it’s beauty-related but some of you mommies are asking about the change in my eyes. That’s why I’m writing this here, and to tell you that you can have some pampering time na hindi mabubutas ang bulsa.

Minsan lang maging GGSS kaya pagbigyan nyo na :p

One of the procedures I get once in a while aside from facial is eyebrow threading. Hindi kasi talaga ako marunong magkilay. I go to Happy Brows at SM Molino, I’m happy with their service basta make sure na sabihin nyo lang sa gagawa sa inyo wag nipisan yung kilay nyo. On my previous visit, I decided to try their eyelash perming.

I asked them what’s advisable for me, if perming or lash extensions. They said perming lang since I have thick and long lashes, all I need is a lash lift. I appreciate the fact that they didn’t push me to get a more expensive procedure which is the lash extension.

After my eyebrow threading, the staff put a tape in my undereye area. The rest of the procedure I have no idea, I have to close my eyes for 30-45 minutes.

Here’s the before and after my eyelash perm procedure

At dahil bored talaga ako, I decided to try on colored contact lens, I’ve been wearing clear contact lenses since college. Bulag kasi ako sa totoong buhay, 350 yung grade ng right eye ko. I tried the Flexwear disposable contact lens from Executive Optical, 480 pesos for 1 month.

Here’s another photo showing my bigger brown eyes and eyelash perm.

Eyelash perm lasts for 2 months according to the staff from Happy Brows, pwede na rin considering that it’s only Php 390. Eyebrow threading naman is Php 160.

Happy Brows has branches all over Metro Manila, I tried their SM Molino and Glorietta branches.
