Fill the air with Potentilla Home Fragrances plus a GIVEAWAY! {Winners announced}

August 20, 2012 70 Comments

Potentilla Manila is giving away 5 bottles of home fragrances to 5 lucky winners! Read more below.

After the major house clean-up after the flood because of Habagat, I made an effort to make the house extra cheerful aside from being clean. I changed the curtains and throw pillows, and applied wax to the furniture. And to eliminate the stench of floodwater (if there’s any), I used the Potentilla Home Fragrances that was sent to me for review.

Potentilla Home Fragrances

The one in the 60 ml frosted glass is Pink Grapefruit and in the 200 ml bottle is the Tea Party. The package also came with an empty bottle for me to use for the reed diffusers and a small amount of fragrance oil.

Pink Grapefruit – tangy grapefruit splashed with sweetness to instantly lift your spirit

Tea Party – detoxifying Japanese matcha  to clear the air of impurities and your mind of all worries

If you already know me, you’ll know that I will instantly grab anything fruity. Jeff also loves fruity and sweet scents so our first pick is the Pink Grapefruit. The fruity scent is just right, not sickly sweet smell because the tangy scent of grapefruit is a great balance. If you close your eyes, it evokes a place full of flowering plants and fruit bearing trees with birds chirping in the background. This is perfect for our living room so that everyone can feel a happy vibe.

Tea Party on the other hand, is a sophisticated scent. It’s like walking in a posh hotel. This is perfect for the bedroom or the dining area to evoke that cozy romantic vibe.

I’m using reed diffusers to freshen up the air ever since, I need not worry of candles and I don’t like the strong scent of commercial air fresheners. With reed diffusers, I can control how much scent I want it to release by using 1, 2, or 3 sticks. It’s very economical too, the 60 ml. bottle is meant to last for 2-3 months.

60 ml Mini Room Fragrance Diffuser Oil is Php 299; 200 ml Room Fragrance Diffuser Oil is Php 650

I think I wanna try Mint Chai and Gingergreen next. Curious on the other scents? Check out their website at http://www.potentilladiffusers.com/ and like Potentilla on Facebook.

    So that’s what they’re called… reed diffusers :). Pardon my ignorance, but I’ve always wondered what they were.
    That’s an excellent way to liven up any room. I might do that too in our bedroom. I wonder if they have a lavender scent? Something that relaxes…

    hmmm…grapefruit, I am not sure if I like it but I guess since it is citrus, it will easily eliminate the stink of the floodwaters. kudos to you sis for making your home cheery after the flood. 😀

    I think I encountered this brand just the other day at a mall in Ortigas which has an on-going sale. I am not that sure. This home fragrance is absolutely good for those who wanted an exciting kind of relaxation. I must agree it is really quite easy on the pocket.
