Gwen turns 1: A Jollibee birthday party

December 31, 2011 18 Comments

Last December 18, we celebrated Gwen’s 1st birthday. We celebrated it ahead of time, 4 days before her birthday, because that’s the most ideal weekend, the next weekend is already the 24th and 25th, Christmas day. So right after I attended the NAPBAS in Malaysia, it’s time for another big big big celebration!

The party was held at Jollibee Shell Macapagal Northbound branch, this is different from the Blue Wave Macapagal branch. We chose this branch because they have bigger party area and they allow us to have a photobooth unlike the Blue Wave branch. I highly recommend this branch because they took extra effort to make the venue festive too, with colorful swags and balloons.

It’s a rainbow-themed party, by the way, but it’s not obvious, hehe. Jollibee doesn’t allow character-themed parties that’s why I just chose rainbow.

Total guests was 120 and we’re glad that we had an almost 95% attendance despite the rain. Package 4 menu for the adults and a chicken-spaghetti meal for the kids cost us around Php 23k. I took care of the loot bags which I will be posting on my next entries. Other party suppliers like the face paint and photobooth will also be posted.

Choosing to celebrate her first birthday at Jollibee is a practical choice for us, I guess. We don’t have to worry about entertaining guests because their party coordinators are there to entertain them plus the contests. No need to prepare and clean the house after party, just what we need during the holidays, a worry-free and stress-free party but just as FUN!

Click on the links for the suppliers I got for the party:

  • Birthday outfit: Twilo from SM
  • Party invites:Ā Rainbow-themed party invites from Sugar Prints
  • Face paint: Groove Paint Party Needs
  • Lootbag: Rainbow-themed lootbag/tin pail
  • Photobooth: FLIPPbooth

Food, cakes and program for the party are all from Jollibee.

i so envy the coordinated look.. i somehow forgot about how we’d look in sooae’s 2-part birthday celebration. it will be very simple. just with friends and my cousins on the 14th and with Alex’ family on their (chinese) new year’s celebration.

Hi Mommy! I’m planning on having my daughter’s first birthday at Jollibee Rizal Park naman. Just wanted to ask, did you reserve for a two- hour slot only or did you opt to reserve two two-hour slots so that you had more time at the venue? Thanks!

Hi Hana, just the two-hour slot is enough for the party. May program din kasi yung Jollibee na sinusunod. Have a great time!

Ah okay. At least I know that with their program, hindi feeling rushed ang party. Thanks so much for the advice. šŸ˜€

Hi! Did you get a balloon decorator? Did Jollibee provided the cake arch? We’re having a Jollibee party in 2 months and we’re looking for an affordable balloon decorator. Many thanks!

The cake arch was provided by Jollibee. We didn’t get a balloon decorator, the balloons in the ceiling were all from Jollibee. =)
