Hi-5 Philippines will air on TV5 with 2 time slots starting on Monday, June 15, 2015, 8:30 am and 3:45 pm. It will be an all-Filipino cast for the Hi-5 Philippines. TV5 acquired the franchise of this award-winning Australian children show to bring world-class edutainment experience closer to more Filipino kids.

My favorite Hi-5 song (ako talaga ang may favorite eh no?) is WOW, L.O.V.E. comes second. Too bad I can’t edit the video taken from my Lumix, clearer video sana. But here are the three videos taken from my phone, hope you’ll watch it albeit shaky.

There will be Filipino songs and lessons incorporated in the show, but the iconic songs from Hi-5 will still be in English. The cast will also communicate in both English and Filipino.

Sienna “Ate Sienna” Olaso is now TV5’s Vice President for Production Finance and Special Projects, and she will be part of the production side of Hi-5 Philippines. This is really exciting because as a former member of Batibot, she surely knows how to capture the hearts of Filipino kids. And I am sure that the values imparted to us by the defunct show can now be shown via Hi-5 Philippines.

Yes! Ang swerte ng Pinoy kids, kasi they have Hi-5 Australia and Hi-5 PH na.
