In the Kitchen: Sinigang na Bangus Belly sa Miso Recipe

January 11, 2020 Leave a Comment

In the Kitchen will be the category where I will post some of the recipes I cook for my family. I promise you these are super-duper easy recipes because I’m really not an expert in the kitchen plus the fact that I don’t want recipes with so many steps/how-tos. Just 4-6 instructions, anything more than that, I skip the page of my recipe book and look for simpler recipes. So newbies in the kitchen, I hope you’ll try my recipes or suggestions and let’s share kitchen secrets!

After all the sinful and greasy dishes we had during the holidays, it’s time to eat healthy meals naman. I also miss simple lutong bahay dishes, and if you know my family, sabaw is life. So let’s cook Sinigang na Bangus Belly sa Miso using SeaKing Boneless Milkfish (Bangus) Belly frozen pack.

Aside from the Wild Alaskan Salmon, SeaKingPH also has Milkfish (Bangus) frozen packs. These frozen packs are heaven sent because all you have to do is thaw and then cook. The bangus is deboned, freshly packed and then vacuum sealed, yung ibang variants, marinated or smoked pa, iluluto na lang! Perfect for me kasi hindi ako marunong how to choose fresh fish in the market, moreso maglinis at magdebone ng bangus :p

The 400-gram pack above has 2 pieces of bangus belly, I cut the belly in half for my sinigang recipe.
