Tiger Balm Insect Repellent Spray

October 7, 2013 9 Comments

Mosquitoes at home are getting immune on Giga Baby Insect Repellant Spray, I used this for Gwen for more than a year. So I tried other brands but I haven’t found one that isn’t sticky. When I bought diapers wand wipes at SM, I found this Tiger Balm Insect Repellent Spray.

Tiger Balm Insect Repellent Spray

It says No Deet so it’s safe. Plus, I’m familiar with the Tiger Balm brand because Nanay uses the ointment kind.

Active ingredients include Citronella, camphor and menthol.

I find the Citronella scent very strong. But I don’t mind because Gwen has been mosquito- and insect-bites free since we switched to this brand. It’s not sticky or oily at all.

If you still have babies/infants, better use insect repellents with milder scents. But for those with active toddlers and kids, I think Tiger Balm Insect Repellent Spray is worth a try to shoo those mosquitoes away.

I don’t like the Citronella scent, too, but we have Citronella-based gel at home and mosquito bracelet for Justin whenever we leave the house.

Napapansin ko nga na after sometime parang nai-immune na yung mga lamok sa amoy nung brand na parati mong ginagamit. Siguro dapat mag-try na rin kami ng ibang brand.
