Ceelin Plus para Kontra-Sakit, Kontra Liit

November 18, 2012 1 Comment

Fact:

In 2011, the Food and Nutrition Research Institute (DOST-FNRI) conducted a study on the nutritional status of Filipino children showing that 3 in every 10 children, ages 0-5 years old, are stunted for their age.

A United Nations Development Programme study also revealed that the Philippines has the second highest incidence of stunting in Southeast Asia, with Indonesia getting the top spot.

This is a very alarming issue among Filipino children and parents today, growth stunting. That’s why Ceelin Plus launched its “Kontra Sakit, Kontra Liit” campaign to create awareness about growth stunting and how to combat it by having strong immunity.

We sometimes associate small kids as being sakitin, right?

According to medical experts, growth stunting is caused by two main factors: malnutrition and recurrence of illness or infections. The prolonged inadequacies in nutrient intake as well as recurrence of illness can slow down skeletal growth and eventually lead to linear growth retardation.

The solution:

For malnutrition, we should make sure that our children eat healthy and balanced meals. Know your Go, Grow, and Glow food groups. No junk foods.

To prevent illness, vitamin C and zinc supplementation can boost the immune system. Being illness-free means no growth stunting.

You might ask: “My child/children is having a balanced and healthy meal? Do I need to give them Ceelin Plus?” The answer is Yes. This is to ensure that your child is getting the right amount of vitamin C and zinc. When cooking our food, a lot of nutrients were lost already from slicing, washing, boiling, etc… So it is important to supplement with Ceelin Plus for 100% protection.

About Ceelin Plus:

It is an apple-flavored syrup that has the dual boosting action of 100mg of Vitamin C which strengthens immunity kaya “kontra sakit” and 10mg of Zinc which not only boosts immunity, but also prevents growth stunting kaya “kontra liit”.
