One thing that doesn’t excite me when traveling is the packing and unpacking process. I still have a long way to go in practicing how to pack light. But thankfully, I have my husband, Jeff, who is the expert in packing light. I just give Gwen’s stuff in a packing cube and he’ll take care of the rest. As for my things, I have my own bag, DON’T ASK WHY hahahaha. So basically, Jeff and Gwen’s things go into one duffle bag while my clothes and other “stuff” goes into my backpack.

We are a family on the go, we like to travel ever since Gwen was younger. When you look at the photos of our vacation, it’s all pure fun but the truth is, I’m also worried whenever we travel. There was this instance that there’s a flu scare in Hong Kong, and I have to make sure that Gwen had her flu shot first before we fly. We just stayed home this weekend, we thought it’s a payday Friday and some malls are having their sale so traffic will be hellish. Gwen’s new yaya is on a day-off, and honestly, we’re not sure if she’s a keeper. Gwen is not warming up to her new Ate even if it’s already a month, and I also don’t feel free moving around the house when she’s in it.
That’s why this weekend, I was in the mood to freely move in the kitchen, yay! Didn’t you notice that food is always associated with whatever the mood we’re in? Third time’s a charm, and when it comes to Multiple Intelligence, three is indeed lucky. Who wouldn’t want a child with 3 kinds of smarts? I’m talking about Brain Smart, Body Smart, and People Smart. I believe that every child is capable of being a Multi-Achiever, as long as as we give them opportunities to freely explore and develop their capabilities. While our kids are young, I try to give them more time and activities to discover the things where they excel. By learning more things, the more chances that we are raising a Generation MI, a generation of Multi-Achievers.
My child is more than Brain Smart! She’s also Body Smart and People Smart.
